If this is you, let's get together and see what we can accomplish together.About the JobResponsible for engineering support of assigned product categories of released production products and design of similar spin-off products that may evolve. The Product Engineer supports the external customer with product applications and the internal team with resolution of technical and quality issues that may arise. Internal customers include peer engineering groups, Quality and Manufacturing operations which rely on his/her engineering expertise to assist in new designs, yield and process improvements. Works with New Business Development in the area of prototypes, samples, product documentation and cost projections as needed to quote and secure new business. This position will require some Mechanical Engineering aptitude in addition to the core Electrical Engineering disciplines. Establish a strong focus on internal and external customer service
Provide technical support via direct communication to sales, marketing
Provide technical support and assist in resolution of manufacturing problems as required
Help generate, review and approve all product documentation
Comprehensive knowledge of BOM structure and change control process
Comprehensive understanding of product line designs and project cost make-up
Strong attention to detail
Ability to model and simulate new designs and support preliminary and critical design reviews
Team player in pursuit and support of cost reduction activities to achieve company goals
Work with Design and Test Engineering, Business Unit Managers, Product Sales Managers and department managers to ensure technical documentation needs are planned and met
Review and approve Engineering Change Orders (ECO) applicable to product line responsibilities
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, SolidWorks, LTSpice and Cadence Orcad skills are a major plus.
Good interpersonal and training skills
Ability to work independently, resolve technical and manufacturing issues without detailed direction and work as part of a team
Capability to accurately and efficiently work on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to travel "as required" to customer site(s) to provide technical support and training

Job Requirements: Product Engineer II
BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, MS degree is a plus
6+ years of engineering experience
Relevant experience in electrical, computer systems and mechanical engineering is desired
Demonstrates accuracy and proficiency in execution of Job Responsibilities
Strong key contributor with demonstrated leadership capabilities
Ability to clearly articulate a description of work product both verbally and in writing
