Responsibilities and activities include:
Provide Engineering and Design services for Occupied Buildings and Enclosed Process Areas requiring HVAC and/or Plumbing Systems.
Provide technical expertise and oversight of HVAC and Plumbing Engineering and Design by Project Teams.
Develop and maintain Global Specifications and Details.
Perform HVAC and Building Assessments.
Prepare conceptual and schematic designs for/construction documents of HVAC and Plumbing systems.
Assist in cost evaluations and comparative analyses of HVAC and Plumbing systems.
Provide technical support to Maintenance, Project and Site Teams with issues relating to this area of expertise.
Required experience and skills include:
Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people and cultures.
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing Systems for all types of industrial occupied and non-occupied building applications.
Ability to perform engineering, design, and management of multiple projects concurrently.
Ability to work within and adhere to defined budgets and schedules.
Proficiency in design software packages including AutoCAD, Revit and MicroStation.
Proficiency in business software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
Proficiency in typing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
Minimum B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
Work History:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in HVAC Engineering and Design
Licensure:
Licensed Professional Engineer preferred.
