Oversees overall metrology equipment for factory equipment in a semiconductor EPI facility located in Allen, TX
Assist equipment/process engineers in troubleshooting down equipment.
Complete preventative/predictive maintenance in a timely manner.
Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
Has a firm grasp of semiconductor metrology equipment such as thickness, resistivity, particle
Extensive knowledge on metrology calibrations techniques.
Maintain and develop metrology tool recipes, calibration and troubleshooting practices.
Analyze metrology equipment performance to maintain, monitor and measure quality of product.
Maintains and keep records of all calibrations and gauges in accordance with the quality ISO9001:2015 QMS standard.
Maintains calibrations to specified reference measurement standards.
Calibrates, maintains, repairs, installs, and troubleshoots metrology equipment used to measure various epitaxial properties in silicon materials or the environment.
Understands industry and quality concepts and standards, including ISO, GMP, and NIST.
Responsible for CapEx installations, overhauls, and maintenance of assigned Metrology Equipment.
Perform MSA, GR&R gauge studies, assess the results and based on quantitative analysis.
Technical expert for metrology equipment, calibration and data analytics.
Establish, maintain, and continuously improve critical processes and parameters according to the control plan.
Interface with plant departments to ensure all production needs are met.
Interface with corporate support departments as necessary.
Support customer feedback handling and solving of technical issues.
Other duties as assigned.
