We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Estimator to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. The Chief Estimator will oversee all estimating activities, providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects, managing a team of estimators, and collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
Chief Estimator  Responsibilities


Lead the estimating team in preparing detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.


Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.


Utilize historical data, subcontractor quotes, and industry best practices to develop cost models and estimates.


Coordinate and participate in bid reviews with senior management and project stakeholders.


Manage and mentor a team of estimators, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.


Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and reliable partnerships.


Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and constraints.


Monitor market trends and industry changes to adjust estimating strategies and maintain competitiveness.


Chief Estimator Position Requirements


Graduate from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or 15 years equivalent construction experience.


Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Office products.


Highly motivated with an overwhelming desire to learn and advance your career as an employee-owner
