Staff Accountant

InterDent is based out of Inglewood, CA with a second office in Vancouver, WA and backed by a publically traded equity sponsor.
This position is Full-Time (at least 40 hours per week) at our Inglewood, CA office with an hourly pay of $25.00 - $31.00/DOE.
Essential Responsibilities and Tasks
Prepare high volume monthly bank reconciliations
Prepares general ledger journal entries through research and maintaining records and files
Assist and support our Dental offices with inquires related to Treasury functions
Audit of the locations daily deposits and end of the day reports in compliance with the Company’s cash policy
Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and account analysis
Assist with month-end and year-end close functions
Assists in the performance of other accounting department functions as required to meet departmental objectives and time frames
Pay
$25 - $31 per hour
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
2-3 years’ relevant experience
Prior experience MS Dynamics (GP) is a plus
Demonstrated understanding of GAAP and accounting information systems
Strong skills in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, with a desire to advance proficiency
Ability to diligently attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks
Exemplary analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to take ownership for the quality and timeliness of work and for managing competing deliverables
Desire to drive improvement, both organizational and professional
Strong communication and collaboration skills
