Enterprise Architect

* This is a full time, remote opportunity to support the Department of Energy. Candidates must be comfortable working in a remote setting and travelling to work 1 week / month onsite at Oak Ridge, TN.* **Duties and Responsibilities:** Facilitates and participates in programs supporting architecture governance, guidelines, and strategy. * Partners with business units to align their goals and ensure IT can identify maturity gaps, communicate recommendations, and deliver standardized and scalable solutions.* Work with all levels of management to understand strategic vision and then produce strategic roadmaps.* Setup of templates to be utilized by the larger team going forward.* Experience with DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF)* Experience with EA Frameworks (TOGAF)* Experience in executing long term, strategic planning.* Visio experience to execute strategic drawings.* Experience with architecture tools* Requirements gathering* Presentation Skills* Oral and Written communication* Interpersonal Skills* *Qualifications:** Must hold an active Top Secret or Q-Level security clearance.* PhD in a technical field with limited experience or Master's degree in a technical field and 2 to 5 years of related experience or Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5 to 10 years of related experience or Associates degree in a technical field and 10 to 15 years of related experience.* 5+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect working with DOD Architecture Framework.* Requires demonstrated in-depth knowledge and skills in a technical specialty. Recognized as an expert in their field.
