Honing/Grinding Machinist, Set-up & operate position job outline (high experience level):

Set up & operate CNC & manual Sunnen Hone, CNC Studer OD Grinder, Crystal Lake grinders, CNC Harig Surface Grinder.
Including inspection of parts using any and all inspection tools available: Sunnen PG-800, Sunnen dial bore gages, Mahr Comparator gages, bench centers with test indicators, profilometers, micrometers, blade micrometers, etc. Supervise, operators where applicable, trouble shoot various problems on the honing & grinding equipment to help control quality & production.
