Multiple facilities available in the San Fernando Valley:Chatsworth - Woodland Hills - Northridge area Please see map links below:Map links:  Chatsworth   Woodland Hills  NorthridgeWe have 4 beautiful 6-bed NeuroRestorative facilities in the San Fernando Valley, with locations in Northridge, Woodland Hills, and 2 in Chatsworth.They are all fully licensed JCAHO accredited Congregate Living Healthcare (CLHF) facilities that specialize in brain, spinal cord and other life-altering injuries and medically-complex illnesses.We offer in-patient treatment in a residential home-like setting to individuals of all ages, which includes neurorehabilitation, respite, post-acute, and sub-acute care.We offer a variety of services including amputee care, complex wound care, G- and J- tube feedings, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, multiple IV antibiotic therapy, pulmonary care, social & recreational activities, and more.

Certified Nursing Assistant

Locations in Chatsworth, Northridge and/or Woodland Hills to choose from
Fulltime and per-diem shifts available
DAYS (7:00 AM-7:00 PM) & NOC (7:00 PM-7:00 AM) shifts available:

Dayshift rates: $18.00-$21.50 base rate based on experience + OT past 8th hour 
NOC shift rates: $18.00-$21.50 base rate based on experience + $2.00/hour NOC shift diff + OT past 8th hour


Every other Fri/Sat/Sun off for full-time positions
12-hour shifts
OT after 8th hour
DT after 12th hour
Low patient ratios (max of 6 patients)

We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant who is kind, hardworking and dedicated to helping us provide compassionate, gentle care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an inpatient or long-term care facility and is capable of providing Activities of Daily Living such as helping patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and recreational activities, as well as documenting care and taking vital signs. The successful candidate for this position enjoys working with individuals with special needs and having the opportunity to make a true difference in their lives. 
 
Responsibilities: 

Provide basic bedside care such as assisting the patient in moving to and from bed and ensuring that the patient's condition is monitored properly with consistent assessments
Assist patients with dressing or bathing as directed by the supervising nurse.
Observe patients and report changes to the nurse
Provide basic support to convalescing patients
Assist with mobility exercises and range of motion activities

Schedule for FULL-TIME positions:

Must be able to work a 12-hour shift

DAY shift: 7:00 am-7:00 pm
NOC shift: 7:00 pm-7:00 am


2-week rotating block schedule:

Week 1 days: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Week 2 days: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday
Schedule repeats every 2 weeks



 
Qualifications: 

High School diploma or G.E.D.
Completion of CNA certification program; Current California CNA certification
One year CNA experience preferred, ideally experience with medically complex patients
Current in CPR for Healthcare Provider
Ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and families
A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
