Job Description

Visa USA Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Staff SW Engineer (multiple openings) in Highlands Ranch, CO to:

Responsible for the architecture, design, development, and implementation of software applications.Evaluate and introduce technology tools and processes that enable Visa to develop products and solutions, to embrace business opportunities and/or improve operational efficiency.Develop and implement unified control center and monitoring tools to measure, monitor, and report on platform, data availability, utilization, capacity trend, and overall health metrics.Formulate methods to enable consistent data loading and optimize data operations.Monitor health of platforms, generate performance reports, and monitor and provide continuous improvements.Ensure on-time delivery of projects, production support plans, and knowledge transfer for long-term supportability of upgrades, enhancements, and deployments.Understand usage patterns and work load requirements of new projects.Develop code and mentor junior developers to ensure deliverables are on time, within budget, and with good code quality.Position reports to the Highlands Ranch, CO office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related field and 10 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.C#, ASP.NET, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, XML, XAML.HTML, ReactJS, Redux, AngularJS, KnockoutJS, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript. jQuery, SignalR.Windows server, .NET Framework, .NET Core, MVC, MVVM, Angular, WCF, WebAPI.GitHub.MongoDB.SDLC.Object Oriented Programming.

Additional Information

Worksite: Highlands Ranch, CO

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $152,945.00 USD to $179,900.00 USD per year USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
