Brief DescriptionRegal Rexnord, a leading supplier in the Aerospace industry, is seeking is seeking the services of a skilled Buyer who will support the process of securing an optimal supply of purchased material required to support manufacturing and meet customer demand.Key Accountabilities
Determine, schedule, and coordinate material delivery of material
Ensure all POs communicate accurately communicate the quality requirements needed to ensure material meets required specifications
Work with supplier and Rexnord QC / Engineering as required to disposition any non-conforming material on a timely basis
Monitor, analyze, and report supplier performance including supplier PPM, pricing compared to market and competition, as well as delivery performance to request and promised dates utilizing our ERP system
Manage Inventory investment and PPV to insure best use of Rexnord capital
Work with QC to Identify, audit, and approve suppliers as well as manage the ASL (Approved Supplier List) to ensure appropriate criteria are being met for supply base.
Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities to improve the supply chain effectiveness
Monitor, analyze, and report supplier performance including supplier PPM, pricing compared to market and competition, as well as delivery performance to request and promised dates utilizing our ERP system
Support MRO and Outside Process subcontract service purchases as required
Lead supplier development initiatives and projects to help reduce total costs and lead-times of the material
Ensure all ERP parameters are maintained to help insure timely, accurate, and efficient material replenishment

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 5 years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree) required

Preferred Capabilities, Experience and Success Factors
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Supply Chain preferred
Self-directed and highly motivated to succeed
Proficient in Excel, Word, and data mining tools such as Business Objects
Willingness and desire to overcome a variety of constraints to be successful
Demonstrate flexibility when confronted with change
Analytical ability to get to root cause as well as initiate and execute effective corrective action
Good interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of any organization
Level and positive attitude and foster a continuous improvement environment
Customer focused with a sense of urgency when required
CPM or CPIM certification
Professional, ethical, and reliable
