Job DescriptionIf you are looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you Based in Tulsa, OK, you will perform light mechanical assembly operations at a low complexity level, usually on standard production items. You will coordinate assembly activities with the Manufacturing Supervisor to guarantee required quantities are completed to meet our customer requirements. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Perform light mechanical assembly using light electrical and air operated hand tools, measurement tools and overhead cranes Perform light semi-automatic machine operations such as grinding, sanding, drilling, and gasket cutting Build final assemblies in conformance with assembly drawings, specifications, procedures, work instructions, and verbal instructions Ensure that all products assembled operate in the manner intended by the assembly drawings, specifications, and instructions Report discrepancies of product non-conformance and equipment problems to the Manufacturing Supervisor and/or Direct Labor Lead. Assist in the pressure testing (pneumatic or hydrostatic) of some assemblies in accordance with prescribed engineering specifications and test methods.

For This Role, You Will Need: 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing setting on an Assembly line Maintain a high degree of accuracy in performing transactions and dealing with part numbers, quantities, locations, weights, etc. Ability to read engineering assembly drawings, use simple measuring tools, and identify components Ability to stand for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Prior Emerson work experience and product knowledge Oracle experience preferred Previous experience in Pressure Vessels
