Inspects and reports failure analysis of product and parts. Reworks parts as required (machining, drilling, etc.) Test gearboxes to ensure functionality. Troubleshoots/Diagnose test bench rejects. Works independently and may have limited travel locally to customer locations. Performs related tasks as assigned.

Your Profile as a Mechanic in Off Highway High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to write English. 2+ years previous mechanical experience. Basic math and equipment measurement skills in English and intermediate computer skills (order parts in ERP system) required. Technical or vocational school or 2+ years mechanical product experience preferred. Knowledge of hand or pneumatic tools; forklift or pallet jack experience. Previous lean manufacturing experience preferred.

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to stand for extended periods of time; 60 minutes continuously up to 6 hours per 10 hour day, walk up to 2 miles per day, handle or feel objects and/or tools; operate power tools; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; bend, verbally communicate; and hear safety indicators. The associate must frequently and repetitively lift and /or move up to 40 pounds.
