Temporary/Seasonal Production/Assembly 2nd Shift positions are availableWe are looking for full-time Temporary/Seasonal Machine Operators who may be interested in converting to Fulltime Sparton Employee after a probationary period. *Please NOTE: Temporary hires are not eligible for Sparton benefits unless they are converted. This role is 40-hours per week role plus 10- hours of mandatory overtime, on average.Position ObjectivePerform routine and/or repetitive operations in a flexible manufacturing environment in accordance with standardized processes, procedures, or methods. This position may require frequent movement throughout the manufacturing operation.Primary Responsibilities Mechanical and/or electrical operations or assemblies involving fixed indicating meters, in-circuit test/functional test, marking machines, jigs & fixtures, packaging equipment, wire cutting, stripping & twisting equipment, various types of fastening devices involving power operations, hand tools and gauges (fixed, micrometers, calipers, rules). May assemble and/or repair printed wiring assemblies (PWA), subassemblies, instruments, and final assemblies of various components utilizing a wide range of tools, work processes and skills to approved documented procedures/specifications. May be required to handle, mix, and test hazardous chemicals. May perform inspection tasks. May kit and pack printed wiring board assemblies. Initiate and maintain accurate paperwork and records as required by job. Responsible for daily clean-up of all assigned work areas. May interact with computer to enter/extract data. Chemical handlers will be using the flammable cabinets supply to support the lines. All other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED

Required Qualifications US Citizenship is required Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions in English. Ability to add/subtract whole numbers, fractions and decimals using direct reading, gauges, rulers, and scales. Successful completion of 1-hour onsite Post Offer Employment Test May be required to lift 50 lbs. as required by job task. May require standing for significant portion of the shift. May require the ability to obtain a US security clearance
