Job Description JOB PURPOSE
Assemble the most complex subcomponents, at a highly technical skill level. This includes complex bonding to make top-level assemblies, per customer specifications and prints, using newly created processes, or the provided process and tooling. Knowledge of high-level bonding skills on a variety of parts, along with high level knowledge of complex tube bending and pressing. This position also supports the Parts Painter and works on techniques needed in masking, painting, reworking and applications for painting. This position works closely with the Process/Product Engineer and is the back up for the Parts Painter.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Interpret moderate to complex blueprints.
Self-starter with detail and quality oriented.
Create top level assembly using subcomponents made and purchased to the customer print.
Visual alertness, hand dexterity, and attention to detail are necessary.
Perform assembly using epoxy, solder, glue, silicon and other types of bonding agents per customer print.
Support the Paint Area determining masking, rework and necessary prototype work to create streamed painting processes.
Support the Paint Area with rework.
Provide support as the backup Parts Painter
Perform complex math calculations.
Perform first piece inspection on assigned jobs using visual or dimensional specifications using quality fixtures or measuring equipment.
Perform accurate wanding and other record keeping tasks as required.
Apply bonding, pads, springs, pins, fans and other assorted hardware per print using fixtures, tooling, hand and power tools.

Work with Engineering on new assembly processes, troubleshooting and improving
procedures. Create solutions, make suggestions to increase assembly time, quality and reduce rework.
Understand and adhere to lot trace ability.
Maintain a safe clean working environment complying with all safety procedures and regulations.
Maintain open communications with team leads and supervisor.
Perform all tasks as required by your supervisor.
Ability to lift/carry 35lbs.

III-Educational Requirements:High school diploma or GED preferred.
