Tchefuncte Animal Hospital in Madisonville, LA is extremely excited to add another veterinarian to our amazing team Our founding DVM, Dr. Moores, who is a native to the surrounding community opened our practice doors in 2008. Within a decade of opening, the practice had tremendous success and grew from one to three doctors. We moved to a new, larger facility in 2014 and have continued to expand our small animal (and occasional exotic) client base For this reason, we eagerly welcome veterinarians of all experience levels to consider joining our amazing hospital.

Each of our doctors has over a decade of experience and would happily pass along their knowledge to a new graduate. Our support staff is equally experienced and we lean upon them heavily. They are the most valuable assets of our practice and have great relationships with all our clients. We all work together very well, respect and appreciate each other’s abilities, and have created a wonderful practice environment.

Our ideal candidate has interest in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and is looking for slightly less than a full-time schedule. A new doctor would work 3 days per week along with 1-2 Saturdays a month. We are open from 7:30 AM – 5 :30 PM on weekdays and only 8 AM to 11 AM on Saturdays. We look forward to meeting you
