About WakeMed:Position Information:The Cardiovascular Sonographer performs echocardiograms as well as varying vascular studies of patient's anatomy/physiology and pathophysiology. They must demonstrate proficiency in the use of ultrasound equipment to visualize and record quality images of the structures of the cardiovascular system in accordance with established guidelines and departmental policies and procedures.Experience Requirements:1 Year Clinical - Ultrasound RequiredEducation Required:Graduate Cardiac Ultrasound And Graduate Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound Required - And/Or Associate's Degree Cardiovascular Sonography Required - Or Equivalent Education and ExperienceLicensure/Certification Requirements:Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer And Registered Peripheral Vascular Technologist And Certified/Licensed/Registered in Field of Practice Required - And Basic Life Support RequiredHours of Work:Monday thru Friday 8am to 4:30 pmWeekend Requirements:No WeekendsCall Requirements:na
