Testing including pH, Conductivity, Total Organic Carbon, and Appearance
Receiving, handling, and disposing of samples
Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.
Accurately records test results and reports any quality anomalies
Maintains laboratory supplies and performs laboratory housekeeping as assigned
Ensures superlative customer service to clients
Participates in required training activities
Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements

Leadership Responsibilities:
Monitors and coaches through the day-to-day operations of direct reports
Coordinate's scheduling of work/training
Performs administrative tasks related to team member growth and development
May be responsible for maintaining multiple projects
Participates in overtime, weekend, and holiday testing when needed

QualificationsThe Ideal Candidate Would Possess:
Is self-motivated, adaptable, team-oriented, and has a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail


Desire to work in a moderately physical role that requires standing much of the time
Strong computer and organizational skills
Ensures that direct reports feel supported
Fosters a healthy, trusting environment and champions transparency and communication

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or other science-related degree concentration,
or equivalent directly related experience
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or
sponsorship

Additional InformationThe position is full-time, Monday-Friday 12pm-10:30pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.What we offer:

Base compensation is $26-$36 per hour based on experience.
2nd and 3rd shift positions will add a 10% and 15% differential to the base pay.
