Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up and operate spot welders for all production jobs
Uses equipment to mark and join a variety of sheet metal materials, including aluminum and stainless steel
Able to make adjustments to machine settings to create quality parts
Able to run production with the aid of fixtures
Able to check parts to engineering drawings using precision measuring equipment
Performs operator maintenance on spot welder
Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting
Follows both visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted
Performs cycle counting of parts and material handling duties as directed by Lead/Supervisor
Adheres to all quality and safety standards
Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
1-3 years industry experience preferred
Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
Experience of small power tools, other hand tools and computerized and high-pressure equipment
Ability to operate a fork lift
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, work overhead with arms and sit or stand for several hours as a time
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required per plant rules
