As a leading provider of behavioral health services, we are seeking skilled professionals of the highest caliber who share our commitment to providing state-of-the-art psychiatric services.Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is hiring a Lead Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP, FNP, AGNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Washington to provide direct care in our contracted Skilled Nursing Facilities. In addition to patient care, the Lead NP will mentor and train new providers, ensuring clinical excellence and supporting their transition into practice.Service Areas IncorporateSeattle, WAResponsibilitiesServe as a mentor, and guide existing providers. Travel throughout the state, assisting with provider onboarding, shadowing, and training. Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.Job TypeFull-time, W2RequirementsLicensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus on psychiatry.Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)3+ years of Geri Psych Experience.3+ years providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.SkillsBasic computer knowledge.Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).Excellent written communication.Attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills.Flexible, organized, and functions under stressful situations.Fluency in Spanish is a plusBenefitsHands-on and remote training/supervision.Work-life balance/flexible work schedule.PTO and Paid Holidays.A comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and more).401k with a company match.NEW Administrative Codes - compensation to complete your progress notesAI Scribe Assist AvailablePay$150,000 - $170,000 annuallyCompensation determined based on pay model preferred, experience, and licensure.
