Our corporate values guide us uncompromisingly to always do the right thing, continually learn and improve, respect everyone and lead with service and humility.About the RoleThis position is responsible for performing manual welding operations using equipment that may include Mig, Tig, and Plasma welders to join parts, vessels, enclosures, etc. to accepted manufacturing standards.Your Key Responsibilities
Setup and operates equipment needed to cut, stamp, bend, form metal parts and materials for welding
Prepares materials and/or parts for welding to specifications
May use Computerized Numeric Control (CNC) plasma cutters and other electronically controlled welders to help cut and weld materials and parts
Tests completed product for welding reliability and completeness.
May clean, re-weld, grind and finish welding.
Cleans and does preventative maintenance on welding and preparation equipment as needed.
Understands the alignment of local requirements for standard work
Assure product meets all quality standards
Meet production metrics (takt time)
Required Qualifications
Basic understanding and completion of welding techniques
1-2 years of experience in basic TIG welding
Ability to lift a maximum of 30 pounds
Desired Qualifications
Willingness to work overtime when needed
Willingness to be a cross-functional team member
