This role will also support production floor inspection for product coming off the machines to ensure quality standards and may also be required to setup and operate CNC Machines as needed. They are also able to design and manufacture complex tooling. Leadership and mentoring skills are also expected of level four machinists. At least 6 years of experience.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Train new and current machinists
Operate and set up CNC or conventional mills and lathes
Inspect produced components per blueprint using standard inspection techniques
Load/unload parts in provided work holding method per setup
Replace broken cutting tools/inserts as needed
Complete work order documentation in accordance with AS9100 quality standards
Load and check CNC program
Establish work and tooling offset information
Train other employees on operation and set up of CNC machines
Oversee operations of multiple CNC or conventional mills and lathes
Light Maintenance Duty of equipment
