TIG Welder

Looking for multiple TIG welders to perform titanium and nickel alloy welding. Manual experience is a must, automatic experience is a plus.

Qualifications:
High school or GED required; Technical school a plus
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Ability to pass TIG welding assessment and become certified on required alloy/joint combinations.
Set-up and layout jobs using CAD drawings, diagrams and fixtures following ASME and NAVSEA specifications
TIG weld in all positions including use of rotary turntables/positioners
Translate verbal and written instruction to produce products in accordance with production needs by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.
Precleaning of weld are using acetone, grinding discs, flapper wheel etc.
Set up and maintain argon purge
Tack welding, fabrication of shop fixtures to assist fabrication & welding
Maintain work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner
Perform preventative maintenance tasks of weld equipment
The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
