Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.nVent is seeking a hardworking individual to step into a newly created automation programming role This role will develop programs and nested patterns for CNC, DNC, and automated equipment used for metal fabrication of special orders and standard parts. Equipment you will interact with in this role consists of Automated Press Brakes, Robot Welders, and CNC Turret Punch Press machines. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Your role will involve delivering high-quality automated solutions that will drive efficiency and productivity improvements.
Use computerized manufacturing technologies to create part patterns and related programs for automated fabrication equipment.
Partner with Engineering staff to identify root cause and solve problems related to equipment programs. Work with, and provide technical assistance and training to, machine operators.
Apply experience with robot arm programming, maintenance, and related software. (FANUC, KUKA, Epson)
Partner with automation and controls team members on projects of varying complexity.
Recommend potential improvements related to day-to-day operations, tooling, and equipment.

YOU HAVE:
2 Year / Associate Degree in Automation Engineering Technology, Design/Drafting, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience nesting and programming CNC Equipment.
Preferred 1 year of robot programming experience.
