Darling Company LLCCome join a team where People make the difference As a part of Marmon Holdings, Inc., a highly decentralized organization, we rely heavily on people with the aptitude, attitude, and entrepreneurial spirit to drive our success, and we're committed to attracting and retaining top talent.Responsible for the entire sequence of cutting and welding operations for a wide variety of repair and fabrication work.Welds in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.Examines weld for bead size and other specifications.Applies filler rod manually to supply weld metal.Cleans or degreases weld joint or workpiece.Repairs broken or cracked parts and fills holes.Prepares broken parts for welding by grooving or scarfing surfaces.Chips off excess weld, slag, and spatter.Preheats workpiece with hand torch or heating furnace.Positions and clamps workpieces together or assemble them in jig or fixture.Tacks assemblies together.Must be able to lift (10 -50 lbs.), bend, stoop, climb and reach.Must be capable of verifying parts to sample.Must be capable of operating machine safely.Previous welding experience required.Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
