About the Opportunity:· Job Title: Machine Operator SMT· Pay: $20/Hour· Location: Anoka, MN· Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM with optional O/T. Daily functions:Sets the machine up and runs the job until complete as indicated by the customer specifications.Inspect work to ensure components are in correct location and polarities are correct to meet customer requirements.Performs preventative maintenance on machine to allow for ultimate productivity of machine requirements.Responsible for running and monitoring the quality on multiple machines.Responsible for tracking time spent on specific jobs by recording time on a time sheet.Contributes to maintaining a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures, reporting any safety concerns, and participating in any scheduled stretch break policy.Desired qualifications:High School diploma or General Education degree (GED) preferred, or related work experience.1-3 years’ experience preferred.Some basic troubleshooting on surface mount machines, reading and understanding technical documents such as blueprints, bill of materials, workmanship standards, equipment procedures, and other related documents.Some soldering experience is highly desired/preferred. Working in any environment with surface mount experience.DIY home electronic repair or wiring and/or any production job which uses a microscope. Experience using fine eye hand coordination is very important.Physical requirements:Lifting 30lbs.Sitting for long durations of time.Ability to perform high manual dexterity and repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for up to 8 to 10 hours a day. Ability to lift, push and pull 10 to 30 pounds. Must have good eyesight, as well as the ability to adjust focus and differentiate between colors.
