NGMS is seeking a Principal Electronics Engineer with the desire to learn new technologies to join our innovative AMC Restricted Engineering team to help develop, enhance and maintain test hardware on cutting edge products and systems. Join a design community that offers unique design challenges and work closely with multiple engineering disciplines including Hardware, Firmware, Software, Mechanical Design, Systems Engineering, etc.
Employee will support the entire product lifecycle development, from design & implementation through flight test and debugging to ensure that product requirements are met. They will work closely with systems engineers, hardware design engineers, software engineers, and customers, troubleshooting and correcting root causes of various system level issues.
Additionally, the selected individual will conduct reviews of hardware related products, hardware designs, and technical documents. The Principal Electronics Engineer position requires a mix of Test Hardware and Software design skills. Experience with DC, Analog, Digital & RF test & measurement equipment; and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting complex electronic systems.
Design of electromechanical test fixture & software test solutions
* Integration of test fixtures & software into a functioning test solution
* Test equipment & software certification per customer requirements
* Test system deployment and factory support
* Software maintenance and/or hardware fixture update initiatives
Basic Qualifications Principal Electronics Engineer:
* Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5 years' experience, Masters degree in STEM with 3 years' experience, Ph.Mix of hardware and software skills
* C / C++)
* Experience with test & measurement equipment
* Active Secret Clearance required.
Advanced degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline
* Experience with LabWindows CVI or C/C++ Development
* Experience with modern software version control tools such as Git or Subversion
* Proficiency with digital, analog, RF test equipment, RF theory and high-speed digital design
* Familiarity with differential digital interfaces like LVDS - PXI/PXIe and VME bus experience
* Hands-on troubleshooting of electronic hardware
* Active Secret clearance
