* Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) & Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certifications

*About the Job:*
* Under the direction of Physicians and and Respiratory Director, perform all respiratory procedures in accordance with NBRC, State Regulations, and departmental policies.
* Recommend and implement appropriate respiratory care procedures and protocols based on observed abnormalities.
* Provides respiratory care to patients in acute, chronic, and emergency situations. Manages mechanical ventilation and artificial airways in critical and general care areas.
* Collects and analyzes arterial blood gases as well as administers aerosolized medications and other respiratory treatments.
* Initiates, monitors and manages patient’s oxygen through various devices including high flow nasal cannula and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation.
* Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.

*South Baldwin Regional Medical Center* is a 112-bed, acute care hospital offering inpatient, outpatient, emergency, diagnostic and surgical care with over 800 employees and a network of medical clinics serving greater coastal Alabama. Hospital services include Baldwin County’s only Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center, Women’s Imaging, digital imaging, a 24-hour emergency department, an extended hours urgent care & imaging center and freestanding emergency department in Gulf Shores.
