The Director of Engineering is responsible for working closely with the Vice President of Engineering and manage a team of engineers to architect, design and build pilots and new products. Candidates must be comfortable working with a small team of developers in a fast paced and highly ambiguous environment working with emerging technologies, high risks and uncertainty.

 
Design and build enterprise software leveraging blockchain and cryptographic technologies. Direct code writing and set technical direction. Lead the team to ensure that requirements are turned into service designs and drive overall architecture of digital assets solutions. Are you energized by rapid software development? Bachelor level degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another technical field
Experience working with a variety of programming languages, frameworks, operating systems, and platforms
Experience with Golang, TypeScript/JavaScript or Java
Experience with Agile Methodologies
Ability to think strategically: creative thinker. Strong software programming skills
Proven track record designing and building complex end-to-end systems (full stack developer)
Experience with databases, Relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and Non-Relational (MongoDB)
Knowledge of cloud computing environments, applications and tools
Experience and knowledge of Agile/iterative software delivery methodologies
Full stack developer
Escalate issues and risks to executive management for timely resolution
