The Wake Forest University School of Medicine is now accepting applications for an Internal Medicine Generalist. We are seeking Physicians to join the University Internal Medicine Country Club practice in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This role involves academic practice with a faculty appointment to the Department of Internal Medicine, Section of General Internal Medicine. This role involves a significant clinical workload within an academic practice, accompanied by a faculty appointment. Conveniently located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the practice site is only 10 minutes away from the main medical center campus, ensuring easy access for patients, providers, and staff.
• History: Established in 1992, this practice boasts a storied history and remarkable faculty retention, with numerous providers having served dedicatedly for 20 to 30 years.
• Clinical Focus: This is a full-time clinical position with a commitment to 8 clinical and 2 nonclinical sessions per week.  Flexible options available for part-time positions or mixed academic roles. 
• While primarily a clinical position, there are diverse professional opportunities, including teaching, clinical research, and administrative roles.
• Limited weeks of outpatient call shared within the entire section of General Internal Medicine, supported by a triage nurse answering service.
• A well-functioning practice highly sought after by patients, including medical center employees and faculty members, consistently achieving high patient satisfaction scores.
