Join the nation’s leading cardiac specialists on Hartford Hospital’s Cardiac Surgery team We're currently seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support patient care from admission to discharge, managing pre-operative and post-operative cases, conducting assessments, documenting progress, and actively participating in interdisciplinary rounds. This position entails handling emergency situations and caring for patients with various cardiac conditions. Practice at the top of your license in high acuity cases alongside our esteemed cardiac specialists at Hartford Hospital, where you'll have unparalleled access to top-tier resources, education, and training.
Role : Open to Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners
Inpatient, cardiac surgery
Schedule: Full-time 3x13s, rotating. Hartford HealthCare supports Physician Assistants in practice:
· Dedicated support and voice for our for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants through the Office of Advanced Practice directed by Sarah Clark, MBA, MHS, PA-C, BSN, RN, System Director of Advanced Practice
· Hartford HealthCare is one of the largest, non-profit , fully-integrated healthcare systems providing patient care in the state, allowing our providers to care for their patients no matter where they reside in Connecticut

Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
