Mother/Baby nurses care for the mother and baby couplet from delivery through dismissal from the hospital. This population includes newborns and adolescent through middle-aged women (typically aged 14-50). Mother/Baby nurses provide care using ongoing assessments, interventions and evaluation of interventions (i.e. the nursing process) and is responsible for the plan of care. Prefer 2 or more years of acute care RN experience
