Teaching Assistants will support licensed teachers in the classroom and gain invaluable experience. Key Duties: Assisting the classroom teacher Work with individual and (or) small groups of students to reinforce instructed material Assist in compiling classroom communications Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning Maintaining a safe learning environment Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student learning experiences and support them as needed Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or the equivalent AND Two years of college (48 units), or A. A. degree (or higher), or Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction Preferred Requirements: Bachelors Degree or higher ParaPro Certification or similar Past work experience in a school Experience working with children with special educational needs Additional Requirements: Additional requirements include US Work Authorization. Applicants must have proficiency in English Pay: Teacher Assistant’s pay will reflect qualifications and experience level.
