Our Registered Nurses raise the bar by providing clinical expertise and the highest quality care in the most compassionate way. Cardiology RNs manage the nursing care plans for the patients with disorders of the heart and vascular tree including coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, valvular heart disease, congenital heart defects, cardiomyopathy, dysrhythmias, and peripheral vascular disease. As a Cardiology RN, you can assume responsibility as a circulator, scrub, or monitor for PCI, STEMI, Diagnostic Caths, Pacemaker and ICD insertions and interventional peripheral vascular cases. You will plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans before, during and after the procedure to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
You will monitor patient vital signs, sedation levels and physical / emotional well-being.
You will provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN’s scope of practice and in accordance with established policies.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
Current state nursing license required;
Basic computer knowledge preferred.
Minimum of one year nursing experience in an ICU or ER setting required. Basic equipment and machine skills preferred
