***Job Description******Position: Mental Health Crisis Response Professional******Responsibilities:***- Respond to 9-8-8 calls as a Qualified Mental Health Professional or Associate- Provide mental health consultations to individuals/families in need of support- Build rapport with individuals and community partners- Refer individuals to community resources- Provide mentoring services and support in various settings- Collaborate with a larger team to ensure quality services***General Duties:***- Assist persons served in accessing health and social services- Work under the direction of a clinical supervisor- Deliver services in office or community settings- Engage individuals who would benefit from addiction treatment- Assist in reestablishing awareness of internal resources- Identify health and safety risks- Make timely referrals to professionals and agencies- Create and maintain positive relationships***Requirements:***- High School diploma or equivalent- Must obtain MHACBO CRM certification within 90 days of hire- Knowledge of community resources- Ability to read and write English- Climb stairs- Read a 12-pt. font***Special Notes:***- Safety sensitive/special needs position- Must pass pre-employment drug screen- Must not be excluded from federal procurement activities- Union representation- Full-time position eligible for overtime***Work Schedule:***- Sunday - Wednesday / Wednesday - Saturday- Day, swing, and overnight shifts- Flexible schedule based on program needs***Benefits:***- Salary and benefits subject to union contract negotiations- Temporary and part-time employees not eligible for benefits- Represented by MCEA unionNew applicants are encouraged to apply promptly, as this recruitment may close without notice.
