The College of Business and Graduate School of Management at Lewis University seeks to establish a pool of potential undergraduate adjunct instructors on an ongoing basis to serve as dynamic and student-centered educators in service of the Economics discipline;  

Adjunct faculty report to their respective department chair and/or the dean and performs instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies and procedures of the University. * Availability to teach during the weekday or evening or online;
* Prepare course materials, syllabus(ai) and update Blackboard course shells (LMS platform);
* Cooperate with department chairs or other program faculty to assure quality and consistency across the program

for Economics courses, a Master's degree in Economics with business experience preferred.
* All hired adjunct faculty must successfully complete the Lewis University Online Teaching Certification Program.
* Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.

Repetitive movement of hands and fingers - typing and/or writing. Reasonable accommodations (in accordance with ADA requirements) may be made, upon request, to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Candidates are preferred to have a minimum of ten years in mid to senior management positions, whereas their professional experiences demonstrate mastery of the subject matter discipline in the classroom.
* Candidates are preferred to provide evidence of prior quality teaching and/or training experiences.
* Part-time; Adjunct Faculty provide a quality learning experience for students on a semester basis.
