Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Labor & Delivery
Shift: Nights/ 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs/weekLength: 26 Weeks
Weekend Requirements: Minimum five weekend shifts per six week schedule period, may be more based on unit needs and staffing. Day shift weekend shifts are Saturday or Sunday. Night shift weekend shifts are Friday and Saturday.
Requirements: 
  • ID license
  • 1 year Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, newborn nursery and OB Triage
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE
  • MedSurg experience preferred
Other Details:Okay with first time travelersMust be willing to float to MedSurgFloating Requirements: Yes- will be asked to task in MedSurg if Women's census is zero. i.e., answer call lights, pass water, answer phone, general taskingCharting System: Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMRFacility has a radius rule of 50 milesCommon diagnoses/Types of patients: Level 1 Maternal and Newborn Care- well mothers and well baby nursery; laboring patients for spontaneous labors, inductions of labor, and cesarean sections all transitioning to full couplet care upon delivery. This unit also covers L&D triage, performs routine non- stress tests, and inpatient/outpatient newborn hearing screens.
