The Nurse Medical Surgical Ortho will report directly to the Nurse Manager. This role involves close interaction with orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated and effective patient care.
The Medical Surgical Ortho unit provides specialized care for patients undergoing orthopedic procedures and surgeries. This unit is equipped with the latest medical technologies and designed to support patients through their recovery process. The environment is fast-paced and requires a team-oriented approach to ensure high-quality care and optimal patient outcomes.
As a Nurse Medical Surgical Ortho you will be responsible for assessing and monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed, and coordinating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care. You will also provide patient education on post-operative care, document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients. Your role will involve managing patient care plans, responding to emergencies, and maintaining effective communication with patients and their families.
The Nurse Medical Surgical Ortho will hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license and. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or orthopedic setting will earn a fast interview.
