Position Summary: The position of a Speech Language Pathologist – Assistant provides coordinated speech therapy to patients of all age groups under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.

We seamlessly integrate into children's lives by bringing individualized care to children in need. In January of 2024, The Hello Foundation and Care Options for Kids united, embarking on a shared mission to elevate school-based services nationwide. Our pediatric specialists are committed to providing high-quality pe diatric services that help children and families live their best lives. We empower our community of clinicians to meet children where they are by providing the support and resources necessary to decrease administrative burdens. Administers the speech therapy treatment plan as developed by the supervising SLP
Using strong communication skills to communicate with families, SLP and staff.
Attending IEP meetings when appropriate as well as perform clerical and scheduling duties
Documenting students' performance, including skill targeted and type/amount of support provided and administering and scoring screenings for the interpretation by the SLP
Developing and implementing activities and materials for teaching and practice of skills to address the goals of the student, per the plan developed by the supervising SLP
Providing treatment through a variety of service delivery models, which may include teletherapy, in-person therapy, individual, and group therapy
Promote Agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information.
Knowledge of therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited institution of higher education .
Current Active State License to practice Speech Therapy in the state you are looking to work within.
Ability to meet vaccination requirements of partnered school districts
Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity, sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone and other equipment.
Must own a personal computer with teleconferencing capabilities
