LPN for 13 week contract in Pittsburgh, PA at $40/Hour - Weekly Pay

*LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) for Long Term Care *- Travel/Local Contract

_Pittsburgh, PA_

$40/Hour (taxed + non-taxed)

Day Shift Available

12 hour shifts; 36 hours/week

*Qualifications:*
* Must have at least one year of LPN experience
* Must have valid PA LPN license or compact license
* Must have current BLS certification

*Responsibilities*
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist in medical procedures such as spinal taps and acute pain management
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and registered nurses to develop patient care plans
- Provide care for patients with various needs, including children, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those requiring primary care

*Experience*
- Proficient in ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of acute pain management, anatomy, and primary care practices
- Familiarity with maintaining medical records accurately
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
