LOOKING FOR AN ASAP START PLEASE IF TRAVELER CAN START BY 8/26 OR BEFORE WE CAN PEND MOST COMPLIANCE EXCEPT FOR INSTANT DRUG SCREEN, LICENSE VERIFICATION AND A RECENT BACKGROUND REPORT FROM AGENCY WITHIN THE PAST 6 MONTHS IN ORDER TO GET THEM STARTED. FACILTY WILL MAKE CONTACT WITHIN 48 HRS FOR ANY QUALIFIED CANDIDATE THEY ARE INTERSTED IN THAT HAS BEEN PRESENTED FOR CONSIDERATION MUST BE ABLE TO HANDLE A FAST PACE WORK ENVIRONMENT AND FULL PATIENT LOAD. PLEASE NOTE PATIENT RATIOS IN EXEPERIENCE ON PROFILE. LOCAL TRAVELERS (within 50 miles of facility) WHO HAVE EXTENSIVE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE (2+ years) WILL BE CONSIDERED AT A 10% REDUCTION OF POSTED RATE. This is non-negotiable. Thank you NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better). ANY REQUESTED TIME OFF FOR THE DURATION OF THIS ASSIGNEMNT MUST BE NOTED AND VERIFIED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION, ANY RTO WILL NOT BE APPROVED AFTER TIME OF SUBMISSION AND SHOULD NOT BE REQUESTED BY AGENCY OR TRAVELER AT ANY POINT AFTER SUBMISSION , INCLUDING DURING INTERVIEW PER FACILITY PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR TRAVELERS ARE AWARE. About the Facility

Medical Center is a 238-bed acute care facility located on Colliers Way in Weirton, West Virginia, near the US Route 22 corridor adjacent to the Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania border.In what is often described as a tough medical climate, nation-wide, WMC has bucked the trend of struggling healthcare organizations by not only drastically increasing employment, but also by growing its revenue by 64%.Since mid-2012, WMC has proven itself a true tri-state medical network by growing its reach from the 238-bed acute care facility on Colliers way in Weirton and one off-campus location to now operating 38 sites in 3 states.WMC is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to its patients and community.WMC History1953Weirton Medical Center (then Weirton General Hospital) was founded in 1953 by a group of community leaders in the City of Weirton. The Hospital was initially located in the Weircrest addition of Weirton, north of the city. 1978A new facility, renamed Weirton Medical Center, was built on a 20-acre campus located near the US Route 22 corridor adjacent to the West Virginia/Pennsylvania border. The late Michael Starvaggi, President of Starvaggi Industries, donated the land for the current facility. 1987The Hospital converted 23 inpatient beds to create a 23-bed skilled care unit. This unit was expanded to 33 beds in 1996. In 1992, the Hospital created a 20-bed psychiatric unit.1995The Hospital undertook a $3.2 million outpatient renovation, which modified the existing main floor of the facility into a centralized outpatient center.
