_*L&D Contract Job in Sun City, Arizona*_
Labor and Delivery RNs are responsible for monitoring patients throughout labor and serves as the primary point of contact for family members. L&D RNs monitor baby’s heart rate and provide immediate care to the newborn.
*Labor & Delivery (L&D) RN Responsibilities:*
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Perform knowledge of phlebotomy, basic IV and central lines
* Assess and record maternal vital signs throughout labor and post-partum stages
* Administer pain medication and other medicines as ordered
* Educate and support new mothers and families on infant care
