Hospice RN - Traveler

13 week Hospice RN travel assignment

 
Hospital in [CITY & STATE] is looking for a Hospice RN to help them out for 13 weeks. This is a [TIME] shift position.

Perform an initial and ongoing assessment to determine the assigned patient's ongoing nursing care needs.

~ Develop/review/revise and individualize the plan of care to address the patient's nursing care needs for optimum patient care outcomes.

~ Implement interventions that are consistent with the established plan of care in a safe and appropriate manner

~ Evaluate patient care to determine response to care/interventions for optimal patient outcome.

~ Review, delegate and evaluate plans for appropriate utilization of staff at all levels of practice in accordance with the provision of the state's Nurse Practice Act and the Professional Standards of Practice.

~ One years’ experience as a RN or LPN, at least 6 months Hospice nurse experience required.

~ Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.


Technical/Motor Skills - Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.

~ Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Sensory – Visual acuity, ability to effectively communicate


**Fusion Medical Staffing - Home Health Job ID #1639137. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
