Aspirus MedEvac is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician in Portage, WI to join our team
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is responsible for providing safe, comprehensive care to critically ill and/or injured patients of all ages. Care is provided in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transports by understanding and applying the specialized principles and techniques of transport practice, emergency procedures and diagnostics.
Hours: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 24 hour shifts.
Certified Emergency Vehicle Operations (CEVO) or Emergency Vehicle Operating Certification (EVOC) or training.

Aspirus MedEvac medical transportation service provides 24-hour emergency air and ground medical transport for critically ill and injured individuals of North Central Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. Aspirus MedEvac operates critical care ground transfer ambulances from Wisconsin ground bases in Weston, Mosinee, Wisconsin Rapids, Medford, Plover, Portage, Rhinelander, Eagle River, Woodruff and Upper Michigan bases in Ontonagon, Iron River and Crystal Falls. The ground units are staffed with Critical Care Paramedics, Registered Nurses and EMTs. We heal people, promote health and strengthen communities.
