IBJI Libertyville Rehab offers a diverse range of specialties such as sports medicine rehab, vestibular rehab, dry needling, blood flow restriction, and worker's compensation/work conditioning services. More than 140 board-certified and fellowship-trained physicians and surgeons treat children and adults, with expertise in every orthopedic specialty.
As a Physical Therapist Assistant within IBJI, you will have the opportunity to develop close relationships with physicians while working along with them to deliver superior care for our patients. We offer several pathways for staff that promote clinical growth and foster opportunities for advancement in management and clinical leadership.

Sports Medicine
Manual Therapy
Vestibular/ Concussion Rehab
Comprehensive, coordinated surgical and rehabilitative care for Medicare patients undergoing joint replacements
Metabolic approach to joint health and weight loss utilizing rehabilitation, health coaching, and nutritional counseling
Written documentation on patient status per compliance guidelines of IBJI Rehab.
Periodic written communication to physicians through progress notes and discharges after consulting with the supervising PT regarding assessment and plan, and co-signed by PT
Frequent communication with supervising PT regarding appropriate patient progression, discharge and patient follow up.
Supervising Rehabilitation Technicians with patient care and administrative staff as needed.
Compliance with daily paperwork which includes documenting all treatment in patient charts in a timely manner (daily notes, progress notes, discharges, HEP, etc).
Stays current with billing policies and demonstrates ethical billing practices.
Takes an active role in the patient medical team by facilitating relationships with PT’s, MD’s and case managers as appropriately directed by supervising PT.
Participates in IBJI sponsored programs including mentoring, clinical educator, special interest groups, community outreach, etc.
Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Ability to work on a computer for lengthy times during the day
