RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Year's Experience Traveler Experience: Unit WILL accept 1st Time Travelers (Stepdown experience preferred) Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: IV Start and Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias and Management of dysrhythmias Certs: ACLS, BCLS, NIH PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Step-Down experience JOB DETAILS: RATIOS: 1:6 ratio, Avg. Daily Census: 23 Will Accept 13 Weeks. 12 HOUR NIGHTS **26 week contract for holiday coverage** Float Requirement: YES Floating is Required Weekend Requirement: 8 Weekend Shifts PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Cardiac Arrhythmias, MI, ACS, Diabetes uncontrolled, DKA, Heart Failure, post heart catheterization, post PPM, post ICD. Cardiac drips. No titrating for blood pressure. Quality nurses needed that can handle high acuity patients and a high patient to nurse SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Cardiac drips. No titrating for blood pressure. Tele/Stepdown/IMC quality nurses needed that can handle high acuity patients and a high patient to nurse ratio. **No charge nurses on the unit. Teamwork is a must** SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: N/A UNIT SYSTEMS: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR UNIT ORIENTATION: 3 day orientation. First day EPIC training, the next two days on the unit. SCRUBS: Navy or white *** INTERNAL NOTES *** **EKG testing required prior to start for this specialty.**
