To supplement reading and/or math instruction to academically at-risk students in grades K-8
Ability to relate to children with special needs; Some college training preferable. Minimum education requirements are:
* WorkKeys testing in Math - (min score 4); and Writing - (min score 3). In addition to WorkKeys, employee must complete 2 college courses in math, reading or technology within 2 academic years and have a 2.Provide supplemental instruction to academically at-risk students in grades K-8 to provide reinforcement of readingand/or math skills.
* Collaborate with classroom teacher to prepare lessons, materials, and activities that supplements classroom reading and/or math instruction for academically at-risk students.
* Attend Title I staff meetings and professional development.
