Why Drive for Corrigan Oil:
CDL B LICENSE, HAZMAT, TANKER.
Schedule: Monday - Friday Days: 5:00AM Start. 10-12 Hour Shifts.
Drive a straight truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 GVW to transport and deliver petroleum-based products. Compliance with all DOT, Company and Safety Policies, procedures and practices are required at all times.
Able to drive both manual and automatic transmission transport vehicles in various road conditions throughout Michigan and surrounding states.
Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions, checking that vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positioned.
Load fuels as instructed at designed truck rack using fuel arms and hoses that require lifting requirements of 50 pounds without assistance.
Responsible for general maintenance of truck, including but not limited to: checking oil and fuel levels
Complete all “pre-trip” requirements before each truck run and “post-trip” requirement at the end of each shift. of necessary equipment and physically be able to load and unload trucks. Ability to operate Smart Logix computer system or similar.
Ability to climb ladder with a minimum of 3 rungs regularly throughout shift.
Ability to read and complete written documentation with respect to Bill of Lading, Inventory, Pre and Post trips inspections, Orders and Fuel ticket copies. Follows company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies.
Experience driving in all types of weather conditions.
