Requirements :
- ME license
- 1 year experience
- Must have Cardiac Telemetry experience
- Reading/Interpreting Rhythm strips
- Chest Tubes, temp pacemakers (preferred not required), Cardiac drips (Cardizem, amiodarone) – protocols for rate changes
- BLS
- ACLS
- Charting System: Cerner
- Floating: Rarely, if so only to the other cardiac unit
- Patient Ratios: RN: 1:4-5
- Patient Types: Cardiac post procedural – Traveler must have Cardiac Telemetry experience – please decline without this and note this reason on the CIS Dashboard, Cardiac medical and post-surgical/procedures—CHF, angina, acute MI, NSTEMI, cardiac arrest, arrhythmias, TAVR, watchman, CABG, MVR, AVR, EP studies, pacemaker/AICD, TEE, TTE, stress tests, s/p cardiac cath, protocols in place to load IV amiodarone or adjust insulin, diltiazem and epidural drips
- Beds: 32 – private rooms; Haskell 3 – 10 beds
