Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced LPN, (LTC) to fill an opening located in Petoskey, MI for $1720/Week (taxed + non-taxed)
Gross week: $1720/week
Non taxable Stipend:$1120/Week | $28/Hour
Taxable pay: $600/Week| $15/Hour
Blended Hourly: | $43/hr
Requirements of the (LPN):
● Must have AHA BLS certification
● Must have valid MI, LPN License
● *At least two years of SNF/LTC, Med Surg experience*
* _*This is a challenging location to work at. This need is not for LPN's that may have difficulty handing high paced/stress climate.*_
Responsibilities of the (LPN):
● Shift: 10:30Pm-7:00am
● 40 hours/wk
● 13 week contract
*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.
*Responsibilities*
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any deviations to the medical team
- Assist in patient assessments and collaborate in developing care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide compassionate bedside care to patients in various healthcare settings
*Requirements*
- Current LPN license in the state of practice
- Familiarity with a wide range of medical conditions and treatments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in family planning, infant care, primary care, infectious disease care, ophthalmology, occupational health, travel nursing, discharge planning, or at a Level II Trauma Center is a plus
