*We intend to hire KidsClinic Occupational Therapists at our Bellevue office to provide occupational therapy to children with neurodevelopmental disorders and education on each child's therapy program to parents and guardians.
*Work with 3-11 year old pediatrics to provide occupational therapy services
* Assess each child's functional motor skills/abilities/challenges; conduct formal evaluations of performance; review medical reports; seek medical referral, consultation, and advice as necessary; and maintain accurate records of contact for each child
* design and/or assist in developing and ordering adaptive equipment
* Make referrals to appropriate community or Kindering programs, support groups, and other services
* Assist in supervision of student therapists
* Provide or support outreach, intensive informing, care planning, coordination, anticipatory guidance for complex health needs, assistance to access services, consultation, resource development, interagency coordination, training, program planning, quality management, and administration to support Medicaid programs
* Assess each child's functional motor skills/abilities/challenges; conduct formal evaluations of performance; design and implement treatment plan in Center, home, or community childcare as needed; review medical reports; seek medical referral, consultation, and advice as necessary; and maintain accurate records of contact for each child
* Evaluate home, daycare, or school situation through site visits if indicated; design and/or assist in developing and ordering adaptive equipment
* Participate in the development of each child's total program as part of the interdisciplinary team
* Coordinate enrollment/transitions into appropriate community or Kindering Center programs, support groups, and other services; coordinate case management meetings with community agencies
*S. degree in Occupational Therapy; Looking for additional language proficiency with Spanish preferred
* Training in neurodevelopmental treatment techniques preferred
* Experience working with young children who have neuromuscular and developmental disorders, or a professional commitment to develop proficiency in this specialty
* Pass the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) criminal history and background check, as well as the FBI fingerprint check
* Strictly maintain the confidentiality of all client information in accordance with privacy regulations and organizational policies
* Demonstrate proficiency in word processing and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and Access
* Provide proof of current immunizations, including COVID-19 and Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) vaccines, or submit a titer test result demonstrating immunity*
* _Note: Kindering requires all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and MMR or apply for and be approved for a sincerely held religious belief or medical exemption_
